Marina Park in Kirkland, WA

So I just stumbled upon this picture in my iPhone...I have over 1500 pictures. Hopefully I don't lose my phone because I haven't synced it..yikes.

Anyways, this is Marina Park in Kirkland, Wa. Photo was taken on a beautiful day in July, the 4th of July to be exact.

My kids love going to the park and lounging around. We definitely enjoyed the music and fireworks on that day.

Love For Spicy Food

My love for spicy food started several years ago when I tried Thai food for the first time. Now I eat spicy food almost everyday and I can't get enough. I currently have about five different hot sauce in my kitchen. I have Tabasco, Tapatio, Sriracha (Rooster Sauce), Frank's RedHot Sauce, and a chili sauce I made specifically for Pho (noodle soup). The chili sauce I make includes fried chili paste with chili oil...so good!

The bottle with the pink cap is the fried chili paste.

This Tabasco is a mini size bottle....easily stored anywhere for you convenience. 

So there's benefits to eating spicy food:

1. Weight Loss - spicy food can boost up tasteless food when dieting. It also helps you loose weight by pumping up your metabolism. Capsaicin is the active component of chili pepper. Capsaicin has that burning effect that will speed up your metabolism, which then burns calories. 
2. Stronger Cardiovascular System - if you eat enough, the heat from the spicy food will increase the blood flow in your body.

Foods I add these hot sauce or chili sauce to are pho (noodle soup), pizza, grilled chicken, chicken wings (hot wings), ribs, clam chowder, top ramen, etc. My husband is Hispanic and he puts hot sauce on everything! He even puts hot sauce in spaghetti....can you believe that :) BUT....I LOVE it when he makes his salsa and pico de gallo.

Demon cat or wild cat....

So this was our creepy cat that we had and had to get rid of because she freaked me out so many times. Let me explain.....

We got her from a family that had several kittens...mother cat was domestic and father cat was wild. Understood. So we tried to pick a cat that was very mellow because we had kids.

We named her "Kitty." She didn't come near us for the first several weeks....to several months. OK normal. But after a year she hissed and clawed at us still.

We had another cat name "Meow Meow" and he befriended her very quickly after we got her. Naturally they did the deed....she was pregnant and one night when my husband came home....he found.....a crime scene.

Kitty had given birth to her babies and ate them all. My husband said that he saw body parts all over our kitchen and living room. Let's keep it real now...I understand that sometime this is normal for cats, but I was not having it!!

Let's say this was a lesson to be learn. We finally ended up giving her away.

As a parent, I was not comfortable having a cat in the home that hissed and never came near us. I think that she's too much of a wild cat and we were not able to handle that at the moment.

Take care Kitty! And no I did not alter the photo in any way. I was surprise myself when I took the picture. That's why I say she's crazy....demonic.....

Simple but very realistic. Great tight jeans that shows off the hips and curves with a semi loose fitting gray sweater that's tucked in at the front. Any boots will compliment the whole outfit.

This gray dress looks so cute during the winter. I like the color coordination as well as the clutch purse.

The necklace also matches the purse which meshes well together. I think without the necklace and the purse, the dress would be a bit boring. Also she's wearing knee high boots, excellent choice

Inexpensive Nail Polish Does The Trick

This is one of my favorite nail polish color by Sally Hansen

If you love the color....it's Pixel Pretty 4070-03. I only did two coats so if you want a more vibrant and eye pooping color, you can add an extra coat without the nail polish feeling so heavy or thick. I also applied Sally Hansen "Double Duty" strengthening base and top coat..this will make the nail polish last longer.
